Description

The HP DesignJet T870 24 inch is HP’s newest 24 inch plotter and the one to look at if the machine will be busy. It prints an A1 plot in about 21 seconds, up to 120 an hour, and uses pigment based HP Flex Tech inks in cyan, magenta, yellow and matte black, so the output holds up on signage and posters as well as on CAD drawings.

The larger 130 ml and 300 ml cartridges mean fewer interruptions than a machine built around small tanks. It takes rolls up to 24 inches wide with a 50 sheet automatic feeder, connects over Gigabit Ethernet or Wi-Fi, and carries HP Wolf Pro Security along with a two year hardware warranty as standard.

It uses Original HP 738 inks and the HP 739 printhead, and we carry both. The T870 costs more than the T630 and earns it back on speed, ink capacity and the second warranty year. Call us and we will tell you which one suits the work you actually do.

Warranty and service. The T870 comes with a two year HP hardware warranty. HP services these machines directly, on site or through depot, rather than UBM. If the plotter sits behind a deadline, an HP Care Pack extends that cover to three, four or five years of next business day onsite support. It has to be bought while the printer is still inside its original warranty, so the simple time to buy it is now. We sell and register them.
