Uptown Printers Has a New Web Address: UBMCanada.com
If you found us by searching for Uptown Printers, you are in the right place, and thank you for looking us up.
Uptown Printers and Uptown Business Machines are the same business. Our company is Uptown Business Machines Inc., and for years our website lived at uptownprinters.ca, which is how many of you came to know us. The website has now moved to ubmcanada.com. It is the same people on the same phone number, 778-291-2849, and we have been looking after offices in White Rock and across the Lower Mainland since 2016.
Why the website moved
The honest reason is that the old address left some people unsure of what we do. A few thought Uptown Printers was a place to have things printed. It is not. We sell office printers and photocopiers, and business communication tools like the DTEN D7X for meeting rooms, and we look after them, most of it on managed service agreements, where we keep the machine running and the supplies arriving so nobody in your office has to think about it.
The business itself has not changed much. The new address simply says more clearly what we do, and UBM Canada rolls off the tongue the same way Uptown Printers always did.
What has not changed
If you are an existing customer, nothing about your arrangement with us has changed. Your agreement is the same agreement, your service is the same service, and the people you already deal with are still the ones looking after you. You do not need to sign anything or update anything on our account.
The advice has not changed either. We carry Kyocera, Xerox and Epson, along with DTEN for meeting rooms, and we carry more than one brand on purpose. It lets us recommend the machine that fits the work your office actually does rather than the one machine we happen to sell. Sometimes that is a bigger machine on a cost per page agreement, and sometimes it is the small desktop unit you already have, and we will tell you which.
What you might still see
You will still see the Uptown Printers name in a few places, including our Facebook page. The old uptownprinters.ca address now brings you here to ubmcanada.com. If you have us saved in your phone or your accounts payable system as Uptown Printers, that is fine; it is still us.
Where to go from here
If you are choosing a new machine, our guide to how to choose a printer or copier is a good place to start. If you are weighing up leasing against buying, the arithmetic is laid out in printer leasing vs buying in Canada. And if your current machine keeps jamming, check the paper before you call anyone.
Or simply give us a call at 778-291-2849. Whether you knew us as Uptown Printers or you are meeting us for the first time, I am glad you found us, and I look forward to hearing from you.
