Description
A mono workhorse for an office that prints all day. It runs 57 pages a minute, puts the first page out in about four and a half seconds, and one toner cartridge covers 21,000 pages before anyone has to think about it.
- 57 pages a minute in black and white, first page out in 4.5 seconds
- Automatic two sided printing as standard
- 700 sheets of paper standard, expandable to 2,600
- Gigabit Ethernet and USB, the wired connection IT teams prefer
- TK-3432 toner runs 21,000 pages between changes
Why businesses choose it
This is a printer for a department that treats printing as plumbing. At 57 pages a minute it clears a long print job while somebody is still walking to the machine, and Kyocera builds it on long life components, which is why these machines tend to stay in service rather than get replaced.
The economics are in the cartridge. One TK-3432 covers 21,000 pages, so a busy office changes toner a few times a year instead of every month. Fewer changes means fewer interruptions and a lower cost for every page.
Paper handling is the other half. It holds 700 sheets out of the box and builds to 2,600 with extra trays, so a heavy print week gets loaded once rather than babysat.
Specifications at a glance
Figures above are taken from Kyocera’s published specifications for the ECOSYS PA5500x.
It only earns its keep if it keeps working
Every machine we place can run on managed print. We monitor it, the toner arrives before you run out, and service is handled before a small issue becomes downtime. One local number to call.
This machine is available on a service agreement covering toner and maintenance on request.
Not sure this is the one?
We always put two machines in front of you, so the choice is yours and the comparison is honest.
If 57 pages a minute is more than the work asks for, the ECOSYS PA4500x is the same idea at 45 pages a minute. If the team also needs to copy and scan, look at the ECOSYS MA5500ifx multifunction.
Prices in Canadian dollars. Taxes, delivery and any provincial recycling fee are additional.
