Why businesses choose it
Half of a hybrid meeting happens in the room and the other half happens on a screen far away. The D7X AI exists for the far half. Its camera system senses the room in three dimensions and gives each person their own frame, so remote people see faces instead of a long table with small heads around it.
It is built Microsoft first. Windows 11 IoT and native Teams Rooms make it the natural pick for offices that run on Teams all day, and it carries Zoom Rooms certification for everyone else. Everything the standard D7X does well, the whiteboard, the one tap start, the single cable for a guest laptop, is still here.
It costs real money, so we will say plainly who it is for: teams that spend hours a day on video with clients or branch offices, where meeting quality is part of how the business presents itself. If video is occasional in your office, the standard D7X will serve you well and we will tell you so.
