The C9281 is the top of the C9200 line and it is aimed at a different buyer than the other two. This is a commercial print shop adding a digital press beside offset, or a corporate reprographics centre that runs two shifts. At 81 pages per minute with a 500,000 page duty cycle and up to 75,000 recommended pages a month, it is the model you choose when the queue never empties.
Speed is only part of it. The full Production Ready finishing line, GBC AdvancedPunch Pro, high capacity stacker, inserter and inline laminator, all attach to this engine, and the Fiery EX print server handles variable data, imposition and colour management for jobs that are sold on quality. Paper runs to 400 gsm and 13 by 51 inch banners, so the job list is not limited by the printer.

It reports its toner and meter to us, Toner AutoPilot ships supplies before you run out, and service is handled before a small issue becomes a missed deadline.
